Thread: FS: @Bonhams Scottsdale - 1967 Porsche 911 2.0-Liter Coupe

  1. #41
    Hello S Registry,

I'm back from the Bonham auction and got to read the forum talk on my car. First I want to thank everyone for all the positive comments. This car has been a 2 year restoration that when I first started the cars were only worth about $30,000. So I was very happy to get the price I got at auction. This has now set the bar pretty high for a 67 normal which I'm hoping will make it worth while to get more 67s restored.

I want to also especially thank Jim from Easy for his help and support.

I am now working on 2 cars for Monterey, a 67 S and another 67 normal. I will try to post some pics either here or on my Flickr site as they progress. And by the way the air filter is correct for a 67 the clip style was for the 66 first generation weber cars.

Just as a clarification. Is everyone in agreement that the air box is correct for a 1967. The concours level car that was available in this thread seems to have a different style. This is for my edification.

Post #21 in that thread has the 3-clip style as well.
