There you go! That must have been an awesome car.

Who decided that? Clearly not one of the 901/30 cars, which was a 28 car build series:

The sport seats and 100L tank were added later at some point.

So, is this car a "rally car" as well? It's got a 100L tank and sport seats.....

    Hmmm... where's Ahearn?
Here I am! Not sure where to start. I owned this car over 15 years ago. It was the first of many Sports Purpose cars I found. I added the big tank and it had bucket seats as well as hood lights i added. The description is not from me and seems to have evolved over the years and has lots of errors. The seats that were in the car as well as some other details seemed to have disappeared. I did not sell it to Canepa. There were 2 or 3 owners in between. The car was specially ordered and never raced. It has a lot of rally options and is probably one of a kind. Rally kit/equipment would have made the car for sure. My analogy is it is kind of like a 356 with GT options rather than being a S90 GT. I would still consider this a rally car or comp car. Def not one of the special 901/30 cars but with roll bar, skid plates, limited slip, tool box, etc. it actually has more rally options than some of the rally kit cars.

Interestingly it has a 328xxx gearbox. The 68 Rally car I just sold also had a 328xxx box.
