The Shell - Part One…..not so lucky this time!

    So on to the repairs….

…..I always look on in envy at some of the restorations on this board…it seems you guys can be pretty fortunate…..a small rust repair here, a new section there….you're always straight on to the fun stuff!

In the UK we're not so lucky, obviously we all have rust issues to contend with but over here things tend to be fairly major….it seems that every car requires a full on restoration, even the cars that are sourced from those dry states across the pond seem to be pretty rotten by the time they reach the UK!…..I think you guys must be saving all the good stuff and keeping it in the USA!

Now Barry is very fair when it comes to clocking up his hours, I'm pretty sure he never charges for everything and lets a lot of time go un-billed…....my previous restoration clocked up to 275 hours, enough to make your eyes water….this one we're looking at double that and then some! …....if I could go back I may not have even started, but I guess once you're in..…you're in! ….

    Rear inner wing repair….

    …sills…

    …and lots more to follow...
