    My buddy Thierry came out from Orlando to do the drive with me... he drove the whole second day. It was interesting/strange being in the right seat...

    Thierry used to have an early 911 hot rod, but has since been driving MUCH newer cars... 997 Turbo, big HP MB coupe, and now a new 400 hp GTI...

    He got back into, and starting loving, the old school 'analog' world in about 5 mins...and starting thinking about getting another early 911 ......


    3 days, about 900 miles (1/2 qt. of oil) ... from 98 degrees in the low desert to 36 up on Mount Palomar Rd.... GREAT people, great cars... great time
