Does Anyone one have Pics of option M432

Hi All,

I recently got a list, for the options my 1972 911 came with (thanks to a very helpful fellow registrys' member Platas, Thanks again San )

I have identified all of them but the following one ;

M432=additional highbeam lamps over bumper

I am not sure but i thought it might be like the picture below, can anyone please help me with this or post a correct picture of what they actually look like ?



For those who are interested my car came with the following options

engine 632XXXX
gearbox not listed
color 8888=goldmetallic
interior 13=leatherette black/Pepita
dealer 114=Glöckler,Frankfurt
invoice June'72
options 258=headrest left/right
409=sportseat left/right
426=chrome trims on wheel housings
427=rear embellisher
432=additional highbeam lamps over bumper
499=fuel tank 85l
568=colored windows
650=sliding roof

here you go Clayton

they are LIKE the fogs you have shown but are long range driving light lenses instead of the fluted fog lends to give a wide flat light spread

( from the 71 - 73 options booklet)
PS they are around but much rareer than the fogs

I am in the process of restoring my car so i will add this to my to do list........hopefully i can find them and secondly i hope they are not too pricey.

by the way are you sure that the 85l tank was option 499?? I have an 85L tank (came standard in my car) but the options book shows the code as 424 - see below. That does not mean that the number changes but the book is suppoeed to cover 911T E S and 914 from 71 to 73

Awesome Thanks Hugh, I just copied these to my Australian Thread of my rebuild process.......its just started so it will be bit of a journey but definitely worth it Not sure about your Fuel Tank question, i like you thought it was standard on the 1972 911S

The 85l plastic tank may have only been standard for 73 cars. It had been an option from about 1970. While my booklet shows it as option 424 it is entirely possible it was also another number. I don't have it recorded as an option number in any other document that I could find.

My 73 has a 85lt tank as well,I checked the original invoice, nothing listed as an option.
