I'm sure more than that have survived--those are the ones placed in the Early 911S Registry database by Early 911S members.

I've got some data for 60 cars chassis 301000 or older but no confirmation which of those are or aren't still around. Ten of those were "light ivory" (including 300839).

Thank you for such good information. I'm also trying to find out if any other pre-1000 cars were ordered with special interiors? From what I've found in researching is that only 300839 was ordered with the blue interior, blue corduroy inserts and blue carpet. Just curious if any first 911's were documented with any other color than the standard options. Could it be that mine was the only one special ordered? I've found that only 4 were "paint to sample" [mine included] I guess there were no other options back then other than a radio? Please help with any other examples or information.

Haul posted some paint brochures in the thread "Standard and Special Colors for late 64 until May 65 901/911 ?"

6404 Light Ivory was a standard color but normally came with red or black upholstery. The only color for which a blue interior was standard was 6410, Dolphin Grey.

Size: 232.1 KB My 911 #839 was painted Wiess Grau paint code 70187 [on door post] and carpet was dyed? Cloth binding was at least sprayed with dye. Notice how the overspray is on the snap. Blue interior is not an option on the '66 color chart I have. So when would that have happened?

Check post #70 in the thread Standard and Special Colors for late 64 until May 65 901/911 ?

In 1965 (but not 1966) blue interiors were a standard choice with 6410 Dolphin Grey exteriors. What I find unusual is that you're showing square weave ("Bouclé") carpet but the notes say:

    Teppich "Velour" für Typ 911
    Teppich "Bouclé" für Typ 912

Another interior that was '65-only was green.

    "Teppich" means "carpet."
