    Update for all.

It is growing, but we are far from maturity. More input needed on features of relevance. By the way, it is also good to establish clear understanding thru this effort of what was not changed during 1H65 and get that out of the way. I added 2 features: leather handbrake boot and black color under the engine grill. The latter is a running debate and I got the feeling at some point it is linked to the color of the car rather than period. More info or links to relevant threads welcome.

Possibly we can extend to 2H65 at some point, although I'd expect changes to become fewer every quarter.

I would like to ad another feature: the early valve covers had a different shape than the later ones. The ribs were lower at the edges and grew higher to the middle of the cover.

Txs John & 356rider, would you tell us what date your cars were produced?

356rider, you have the luggage hooks, but I am pretty sure 1254 did not anymore. We know that in those days -due to the production organization- changes cannot always be marked clearly, or other later circumstance leads to wrong impressions today, but still it is remarkable.
Just to be sure, we are talking these luggage hooks

Production date for 1318 was June 4, 1965. On the luggage hooks, yes we are talking the same thing. I believe the original owner bent them, although the carpet does not have slits so I'm not sure. I do not think the early cars were consistent on these hooks and it is a bit of a mystery and has been discussed before in another thread.

I'm thinking sometime around the end of April or the beginning of May. And the carpet does have slits cut for the hooks.
