I think Dr B Johnson mentions this, but I am out and cannot check right now. Would be worth buying this book if you are interested in SWB models

    If you have a Dec. '65 car it's most likely a '66 and not a '65...

Here's the book... Hope this helps,

The push button did not change until YM 1969. The armrest changed slightly in YM 1968 due to extra padding. The window crank handles changed 3 times before YM 1969.
    The handles are L to R 65/66, 67, and 68 and later.
Both the 65/66 and the 67 handles have a round cover (seen on the 67 handle) the 67 has a thin plastic insert (shown above it) and the 68 handle has a plastic cover that covers the whole chrome part of the handle that is missing in the photo.
By the way, I just had a 45 minute conversation with Dr Brett Johnson this afternoon. I always enjoy talking with him.

    Regards

    Jim

Not sure if this has been covered but today I noticed up under the dash the heater tubes where go into the trunk are surrounded by cardboard not rubber like later cars, I wonder when this changed? Name: WP_20170110_002.jpg
