    on #113 and 294 they are black over chrome it appears to be original. on some of them the paint has come almost totaly off

    i guess they are 356 carry over items--but what do i know

    They seem to be large phillips head screws not the other type discussed previously

    The makers mark is an abbreviation of the name of the founder Eduard Scharwächter (Edscha). The same mark will be found on early engine lid hinges. http://edscha.com

    Maybe I misunderstood yr question earlier. We think it changed from concave to convex between 717 and 1022.
