    '70 911S coupe, Aubergine, sunroof in UK

    Purchased in the states late '06 with a buttload of other parts.

    It's not a car that immediately comes to mind as being well known in the UK (to me) if it is still in its original colour. It's certainly a car I think I would have remembered.

    Do you wish to post details on DDK to try and widen your search?

    To be honest a 70S in burgundy would be a well known car in the relatively small UK market unless it was a real basket case and is still tucked away being restored after all these years or simply stored away forgotten about. There is really no other early 911 site here other than Ddk.

    It could of course be another colour by now. Being lhd the most likely outcome is that it was sold into Europe so it might be worth our German, Italian, Dutch and French members on here to put up a post on their corresponding forums at home.

    Looks like a long shot to me Frank but it must be somewhere so I will keep my eyes open. I will bump the Ddk thread once more for you.
