Hey, my car ticks a lot of boxes:
    - 1970
    - 2.2S
    - burgundy
    - nr 911030090x

but no sunroof, and bought before 2006...
Close but no cigar I guess

Was this car ever featured in a magazine? I remember seeing a 2.2S in Aubergine that I thought was burgundy but was not. About 10 years ago. Chris

    Chris,

Don't think that this is the car I am talking about. The car is burgundy and had a sunroof in it and was sold from USA late 2006. Remarkable coincidence if it isn't the car Frank is talking about but waiting his reply

Yes! Made splendid headway then hit a wall.
The engine in that car matched a car I recently sold.

Unfortunately the owner won't give up the case... even though his motor is currently apart and he was offered a blank 2.2 case + dinero.

    Strange.
