    Question Ignition Tumbler Removal

I am interested in hearing from anyone that has removed the tumbler from the ignition. How do you remove the tiny pin holding the tumbler in place? I would rather not drill it out if there is any other way. Thanks.

Drilling is your only option but not for newbies. Get a locksmith to do it. Very easy to destroy your lock

Thanks David. I suspected as much. I was just hoping that someone out there had come up with some ingenious way of removing the pin without destroying it.

Perhaps once it is drilled out it can be tapped to take a tiny screw so it can be removed again in the future?
