No worries at all - I wouldn't have posted the vehicle for sale solely on this site if I was not expecting an informed buyer who would ask serious questions but also understands the value behind an original longhood. I will post the additional photos requested when I get home from work as the car is in my garage- if it hasn't sold by then. Many thanks to all for the emails and inquiries on this car. I have never seen this level of response. This is a great forum.

Negative- vehicle is still available for sale. Although it will likely be going to a local dealer for a silly price if I don't receive a real offer soon. Thanks!

This car is now on Ebay...http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-911-...US_Cars_Trucks

Looks like it was sold to the dealer for "silly" money!

Also looks like the compliance sticker was masked at some point...

Notice Ebay ad is not claiming "original" paint.

No reserve auction bidding was up to $55.1k then auction pulled. Was it sold offline or was the seller not feeling he was going to get his price?

Seller told me it would take north of $85K to get this car, they already had an outstanding offer outside of the auction. Will be interesting to see if the car is still available next week.

    thanks
