Hazard / Turn Signal Relay - Buy Genuine and save yourself hours of grief!

In case you haven't read my recent thread regarding hazard light & turn signal issues. There are two relays available, they both are listed by the popular vendors as 914.618.303.11. The genuine one costs $64, aftermarket relay costs $20. The genuine one works! The aftermarket one might ... but in my case it didn't!!!

Anyone else experienced this? Hope this will help others with similar issues.

    Cheers

Hi, even with genuine they some times still do not operate correctly with the handbrake warning light.

I'm not sure what you mean re: handbrake warning light?

Does the light run thru the relay or something?

Yes. The hazard lights, turn signals, handbrake warning light and buzzer all run through this relay.
