    LWB or SWB ?

    hello
    A friend wantt o buy LWB seats but have to be sure
    Someone can confirm which type are there?
    there are headrest on each

    LWB - the black button is the giveaway

    They're not 65-67 as they did not have seat-hinge release buttons on the hinges. 68 was first year for built-in headrests, but not sure if the hinges had buttons on them. Most likely they're from 69-71 as 72 had black seat hinges.

    John 68's have no buttons.

    Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
    SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

    I concur that the '68 seats have no buttons, and furthermore, they have 3 screws on the upper portion of the seat hinge, unlike the two shown in the photo above.
