    '67 chain ramp installation difficulties

1967...Installed chain housings, and trying to get last 2 ramps on (the newer, black hard-plastic ones) ….but they don't go. I'd tap them with a soft hammer but I don't want to break them.
    Any ideas? Tips? Thanks

Yep, you gotta tap them on, don't like it either. Grease the pin and pin hole in the guide block, set it up against the pin, I lay a compost (deadblow) mallet against the rail and then tap that smartly with another mallet (so the blow isn't directly on the block but rather transferred from the mallet.

Update: One minute in microwave on 'high' is enough to soften ever-so-slightly. Thus, they pop right on.
