    Identifying rear passenger seat backs

    Hi,
I have done a search but could not find the answer I´m looking for.

I have some spare rear seat backs. The one to the left is from a 2,2 coupe. The one to the right is from a SWB, but I´m confused about the shape. It is more curved on the side against the quarter window.

The 2,2 seat back is approx 51,5 cm wide at the top. The SWB seat back is wider, 54 cm.

The seat backs I have in my two 67 cars have same shape and width as the 2,2 part.

    Is there a difference between Targa/Coupe, 66/67, Karmann/Porsche or 911/912????

    Thanks! Radmund

Just noticed the seat backs in Milous beautiful 66 912. This is the type I have.

Bump to the top with a picture of the 3. type I have seen on the SWB cars. This picture is from a 68L (attached with the same attachment arms like the LWB cars). Was this style used from the very beginning of 68MY??

The narrower one should be for Targa ( Targa body has double side walls)

    Thanks for your reply fgmec!
A little more feedback would be appreciated. There has to be a change between years also. Did they change the shape between 66 and 67MY on coupe??
