    Group Drives to Parade?

    So I have a mind to drive my almost a track car to Monterey from Thousand Oaks for Parade. Anyone else going to do similar? I want to take the twisty scenic roads rather than the 101 all the way. Thinking 33, 150, 154 or maybe some smaller roads that get to the same place. Not looking to set a speed record- spirited but well within my limits. Maybe lead a nice drive on some nice roads up in the Monterey area too. I would like someone to be Peter Frampton and show me the way.

    I drove in a group up to RRIV, and Paul at Autokennel organized the route. Good roads. I'm sure he'd share the route details.

    So I am driving the 911 up Monday. My dad is taking the comfortable car. I imagine there won't be many others leaving at the same time, so I guess it will be largely 101 for me. Maybe I will throw in some 150 to make things less boring.

    Yeah, I will probably take the 1 past SLO, though. I've done the Cuesta Grade - Atascadero - Paso etc. route enough.
