PayPal or check? Credit card backup for payments is how I prefer to work them. I've used Amex twice to slam the door on deals gone sideways. Took time but it was better than PayPal's "let's wait and see method".

This is complete slander and Rick Raes will be held accountable. I sold him a Core Trans at a core price and he had unrealistic expectations of getting a $8,000 fully rebuilt tranmission. I have offered to refund his money if he ships
the transmission back to me. Many users are not on Early S Registry 24 hours a day. I am away for 2 days at the Amelia Island Concours and have been in contact with the seller. All sellers please be cautious when dealing with this buyer
Rick Raes 66S. I have offed him a partial refund if he wants to keep the transmission and a full refund if he wants to ship it back to me. Not sure what else he expects. Sad that people try to slander others like this.
    Thanks, Tate

Another scammer, in my humble opinion:

    HI Rob,

Thanks for getting back. I apologize for the late response as I have
been very busy with work but yes, I have a genuine Porsche 911 engine
mount console. This mount is used to support engines in 1966-1973
Porsche 911s. It is in nice condition as shown in the photos, with no
    rust or dents.

    Porsche part number is: 901.115.014.04

I'm asking $300 and happy to arrange delivery via USPS or Greyhound to
your door step and would acknowledge payment via Money Gram since my
PayPal is still not up and running. What's your complete shipping
    address?

    Many thanks again and regards,

    Michael

When I offered to send him a cashier's check (I wasn't really going to do it!), I asked for his address. Here's what I got back:

    Hi Rob,

Thanks for getting back. I'll prepare to pack the part ready to ship
out. Meanwhile, I will prefer a Money Gram payment in lieu of a
cashier's check. Let me know where to ship and I will provide details
    for payment via Money Gram.

    Many thanks again and regards,

    Roger

I forgot to tell him that last time he emailed me, his name was "Michael" - LOL! Here's the blokes email, so watch out for him: rogerthat243@gmail.com
