This guy is clearly African or Indian judging by his grammar and syntax.

Come on guys, even scammer need to make a living!

Seriously, just ask the seller what town he is in and after he replies, tell him that it is indeed a small world because your brother lives less that 5 miles from that town and he would be happy to come by and pay him cash and pick up the item / car etc…..

Last year I received photos of 46mm Webers and a ridiculous price in response to my WTB. His PayPal account was down so needed money order.
I wonder how many members have fallen for the fraud?

RichardZ, or David Dione, or sometimes Frank, answered to my request like this:
(adding pictures taken from a Pelican Parts adv dated 2005)

    Hello Andrea,
Thanks for writing. Great ! I have an original 1969 901/10 2.0S Engine
Case in excellent shape and condition, ready to mount on. I'm asking
£650 GBP and I will be shipping via UPS or FedEx on a 3 - 4 working
days delivery and will accept payment via Money Gram as my PayPal is
currently dormant. What's your complete shipping address?

    Many thanks again and regards,

    David

Clearly this guy below does not live in the UK, or he would have a keyboard with the £ GBP sterling symbol on it and he would use that instead of writing 'GBP'.

Regarding my wanted ad here for an early oil tank I too got a Mail from Mrx, or in this case David. What can we do to stop him? If there is anything I can do I will be at service. I have not answered to the Mail yet to "close" the deal.

Here is the Mail I got, same recepy as earlier.

"payment via Money Gram as my PayPal is currently dormant" - At least they make it easy to spot with a classic scammer phrase.
