    Scammer alert

    Dear Registry Members:

    (Moderator alert): This person responded to my WTB ad with the below message. I had not seen anything about him/her on our forum here, yet at least. However, it looked to me (even being an FNG myself) like scammer script all the way. New user, no other known posts here. But, on Pelican Parts he has been written about quite a bit, identifying him as an obvious scammer and has been banned. Obviously I'm not responding. Please beware....

    USERname of - richardz on this forum name of Patrick Watson from Boston, UK with ZERO posts amazingly has the parts I need. Damn I HATE these scammers. There MUST be a way to stop these scum???

    Yes, as soon as someone realize there's a scammer around, ban him immediately from the forum.

    A while back when I was at a business that did Western Union Moneygrams I got a few of their send money forms...

    One guy responded to a WTB listing and offered me rare parts, but he could not send photos of his parts because his camera was "lost"... Imagine that!

    Just to screw with the guy I sent an email saying the money was sent with a scan of the Phony Moneygram Form. I said they made a mistake and it was sent to the Western Union office in the next town away from the guy...

    I don't understand I gave them cash for you and I have this Western Union receipt... Go Check again!

    He drove 30 minutes to the Western Union Office three times trying to get his $885...

    Then he sends me an email saying "it is not cool to mess with people"

    Well Excuuuuse me!
