    Wing Mirror

    Hello,

Does anybody know if a wing mirror on the right hand side was an option in 1973? My 911 S 2/1973 (German delivery) has such a mirror on the right hand side and I can't find this option in any documentation. Even in the spare part catalog I can't find this mirror.

    Cheers and thanks............................Oliver

There was only the left side available in the square mirror. The right square mirror came as an aftermarket later.
I was told if we ordered both mirrors, they would be the round style and that is confirmed in the parts book.
I never saw a 73 with both round mirrors because it wasn't popular to order both mirrors in my area.

    Hi Harvey,

Thanks for the information! That means the options in 1973 (91173101406 small and 91173101407 big) were round mirrors and squre mirrors were not available as right hand side (only later in aftermarket)?

    Cheers.............Oliver
