    Realized my dream

A while ago I started my search for an early car. Then through the registry I had a long term member PM me with his intent to sell his '73E. History, records (down to the bill of sale), owners manuals, numbers matching engine/transmission, rust/accident free and an enthusiastic owner. This car had it all. Other than a dealer installed a/c unit, one respray in the factory color, brand new dash, recently re-upholstered front seats and steering wheel by Tony at Autobahn interior, swap of the unpopular headlamps, rubber bumper guards and cookie cutters, this car was completely in its original state. The front S valance, sport seats, chrome trim molding around wheel well and LSD are all factory options as per kardex and is a bonus for me personally as you don't see all these options in any one car. It has 90,000 well documented miles. It is my humble opinion that the use of cars should not be impacted by the present (or future) value. So I expect this solid driver to see regular use on fair weather days. This specimen is truly a candidate thats very worthy of preservation. I have attached some pictures. The special hue of the Dalmatian blue complements the lines of an early 911.
