    Transmission number is 337922 .. Who is the "they" that will confirm?

    "They" are the numbers. The numbers stamped on your trans are 7337922 915/02. Factory LSD's will add a /11 to the type #. The printed numbers on the paper work usually leaves the 7 off the serial number. Factory special ratio transmissions in 72 & 73 are extremely rare and would carry a #792---- for 72 and #793---- for model year 73. My ears perk up at any mention of factory special ratio transmissions. The Dalmatian Blue is an awesome color, nice ride.
