    Bolts near battery boxes

On my 1970 911, there are two bolts inside the front trunk and in front of each battery, so four bolts total. They also have a washer. I tried the PET and cannot find the bolt or washer. Does anyone know what they are and where I can get new ones? Mine were a little rusty and when I cleaned them up the anodizing was removed.

    Thanks,

    John

Sounds like the front bumper mounting bolts. Standard M8 x 30 or 35 I think. Nothing special, with penny washers. They bolt into captives in the bumper mounts.

Anodizing is a surface treatment used on aluminum parts, plating is a surface treatment used on steel parts, since these bolts were rusty they were steel and you removed the plating, if the're still in good condition you can have them stripped and replated, much easier to find new ones though.
