Extra tag next to VIN plate

I just purchased a non US 73 S, can anyone tell me what this extra tag indicates.

As Stretch noted, it is a British Standard for the seat belt anchorage points .

Got it that makes sense car was imported from England to US in 1984, how many of the Porsche in England are LHD.

Don't fully understand your question Phil. Are you saying this 73S that you have was first registered in the UK as a LHD car. ?

Well I don't know where car was first registered but it was purchased by the previous owner in England in 1984 and shipped to US. The later 911's could be distinguished by VIN as US or non-US cars but not before 1974.

Is that the original color Phil? It looks great.

Yes code 329, oxford or Sea blau, my first PCA driving instructor has an RS in that color and I've loved in ever since.
