    Its the usual...there are no absolutes with Porsche....others have said the same in many previous threads on this subject.

    From Jan 73 onwards the most prevelant were the long red horns with the new brackets not the banjo style thats as definitive as it gets.

    My 73S has snails also. They look original. The car is Italian.

    In the Remark section it states (CH) (Switzerland) for those snails. Perhaps they made their way onto Italian cars too.

    My Feb 73 S has red trumpets. Look to be original Robert thought. I saw a Swiss origin 73S in Robert's shop on Friday that had black snails. It was only a couple of dozen VIN numbers ahead of mine. So it seems to be country specific.
