Well the #1 reason will be if Brother Girt attends.
You have to go early cos Rob Abbott Jr is pretty quick. The Goldsborough boys aint slack neither. and Soterik might pull up in the Escalade.

The problem with flying in from Australia is you gotta get the bounty back home! Sounds like fun though, love to do it one year.

I think it opens to vendors at 6:30 and the public at 7.

On a side note, what do you have to do to get those Hagerty posters (assuming you can't go to Hershey). I mean, 11 years customer, 3 P-cars with them, you'd think instead of the thank you card I got last month, they could have sent that in a tube ;-(

Greg, get at me after the swap, I think I might have a few left.

The date of the swap is April 19th.

Adam...just as you post this thread every year......every year I must post all the reasons NOT to go to Hershey.

    1. It's a long drive for a lot of folks...and the whole thing only lasts a couple of hours
    2. The weather always sucks...rain, snow, snow wind
    3. The food sucks.
    4. There are always lines at the bathrooms
    5. there is nothing at Hershey you can't buy on-line or over the interweb...or from the fine parts purveyors on this site

I only go every year so all of you won't have to...I will be more than glad to report back on Saturday evening how things went....but I can tell you already what the report will be..."Nothing to report" same old boring Hershey...you should be glad you didn't waste your time"...My advise...stay home with your spouse, get some yardwork done much more productive

I liked to go when I was living on the East coast. Would take my wife, and we would make a weekend of it- enjoy visiting Carlisle and Hershey. It was lots of fun. I know I could find some of the parts online, but unlike Ebay, I always knew exactly what I was buying. Since I was sourcing a lot of parts for a restoration, going there was really helpful, poking around the bins of parts, and seeing what is out there for what prices. Got this bumper and fog lights at Hershey.

If you want good food, eat at the Hershey Hotel.
