    Smile 2310807 reporting in.

Been a long time sitting, but is running and moving under it's own power. According to COA engine numbers match. I have to get it back off the ground to check the transaxel. MFI is MIA and the interior was swapped by the previous owner to an early turbo interior (I hate) so I will be replacing this as well. I've owned the car for over 20 years and had its history recorded in a binder, but lost it during the divorce. At least I ended up with my car though!!! I fixing to do it up and do it right!

Crappy photo I know (and that's not my house! ) with an impending storm approaching. This was during the initial shake down run and I had stopped to check for a stuck caliper. So now I am fixing to do front calipers and try again.

LOL!!!! Thanks guys! She's a "50 footer". I'm getting the mechanicals sorted and plan to drive it around a bit, then I am going after the body, etc. I am looking for the correct interior parts next.

    Peter:

PS I have the original "Dog Bone" spare complete with tits. What's the best route for a replacement spare?

    Hi Rick,

Thanks! I was all over cast iron V8s until my Dad sent me looking at a car of his choice... He had NO IDEA!!! (this was around '80) I think it was a '73 with some mods done to it. Bright yellow coupe. The shop that had it for sale wouldn't let me drive it, but I did get a ride. WOW! Long story short, my Dad let me drive it on the next test drive, and I entered the entrance ramp on the interstate at 85mph in third and fourth at??? And that was the end of that!!! So I reverted back to the cast iron V8s, and then to high performance boats. And still messing with the high performance boats. Nothing like over 90 in a 20' boat!

I found this one at an estate sale and had to have it. I love a 911! I love the sound! I love the shape! I love the smell!!!
