I have a '73 Frankenstein targa, don't have any pictures but I can take some on Monday.
It started life as a gold '73.5 targa, it is now currently black. At some point in it's life it must have been in a severe front end collision. The entire front clip is from a lime green '74, and I mean everything including the paint tag. Imagine cutting a targa in half from side to side through the rockers and floor. It was sectioned just in front of the seats. It doesn't look too bad but I think it should stay off the roads. The center tunnel is missing the front 10-12 inches and I fear it would not be safe.

I am sure that this is not quite what you were looking for but here is one done in period by the factory... 9113300157
Initially made into the 1973 Paris show car Turbo with a G series / 74 RSR body and then later a "real RSR" for Alan Hamilton

here is another along the same lines... a dark green metallic (6852-L) 1969S plucked off the showroom floor and turned into a very successful "shell" race car for Jim McKeown here in Australia

then it had a continuous racing life until it became Australian sports car champion in both 1978 (as a long hood) and then 1979 as a short hood. Both times it was with a RSR3.0 factory supplied race engine on Weber 46';s which it still has

After is last race in 1981 it was put away looking like this

which is what it looked like when i took the photos last year

it was cleaned up and the race livery from the time reapplied and debuted to the public for the first time since 1981 at Rennsport in Sydney last may looking like this

it is still a long hood, and a famous 69S at that, in a short hood body and in the form that it won its last championship... so back to longhood or stay short hood - a very difficult decision for the owner

Actually not a standard G body modification. It is still a longhood with integrated bumpers. Probably an important car to document in your reference thread Reza to show the variation
