Thread: What does a 73RS tire compressor look like?

  1. #21
    Ok thanks
The question is: our october1972 production (911 2.4s Italian C07) has the 1972 or 1973 manual??
This is what I would like to know

Great question. I only have the 1/73 manual in Italian. I have been looking for a 72 in IT but no luck so far. As I said somewhere on this subject my car also had a German 72S manual because the original owners traveled in German speaking countries frequently. I guess if they needed help on the road they were covered? The German S manual shows the air bottle. BTW my kit looks like post#4.

Me too always saw manual dated 1/73 or later...I never see a manual from august to december 1972!

I will open a NEW tread about it, maybe someone can help us!

A lot of 911 T/E/S/RS were made between august to december 1972 so someone maybe know the answer..

Every my73 produced should have a 73 owners manual.
They were printed as early as 7/72 (see photo)

    Thanks Andrea,

So, German registered 2.4E with 85 litre tank and steel space-saver spare wheel, built December 1972, what would be correct…….air bottle or compressor?

    Cheers,

Either one until Jan/73 or so, then all compressors probably.
