Plumber, Unfortunately the Toronto Kijiji ad is a Scam. Unless you want a car posted in T.O. but located in Illinois with some shifty salesmanship about shipping, payments, etc.
That's too bad. I posted the ad here thinking of maybe doing the seller and someone else a favor on a very fair deal. The car is local to me though I don't have an extra $45k so I thought I'd pass the info on. No more I guess, in the future it'll just be finders keepers, unless I know someone personally. I'm sure he got bomb barded with offers although he has not changed any of his description, probably will just let the ad expire. It's also a bit tough to be an honest stand up guy when people are waving 50-100% more than your asking price at you. I guess he can do as he chooses, I just hope there was no commitment to a sale at the original price. These escalating prices are sure taking the availability and a lot of the spirit and fun out of the hobby turned investment.

"Garaged 1969 Porsche 911E Coupe with factory-original floors, numbers-matching engine, and excellent factory Bahama Yellow 6805 /Black Leatherette color combination. Bare-metal repaint with zero rust anywhere, nice body gaps. Superb interior, new tires, new tires, fully serviced: runs and drives well. Car was taken to metal and dismantled (windows out) for painting: dollied and hand-blocked, painted with base-clear paint in the original color; then it was wet-sanded and polished to mirror finish and reassembled with all-new rubbers and seals. An excellent and rare example of the first year 911E coupe. We are a licensed California dealer: California retail buyers will be responsible for tax and license fees. Overseas buyers are welcome: "
