    Thomas,

    Whatever the car is all about, the first two pictures seem to tell a compelling story...

    - Looks like the spectators have their umbrellas up because of rain.
    - Looks like the crew is changing the 'tarmac' race tires to treaded tires...
    - You can see it dry under the car and wet around it...
    - You can see the crewman is putting pressure on his left arm starting to undo
    the rear lug nuts...

    - I would also venture to say the two pictures are reverse in sequence...

    Turckheim is a hillclimb, so I suspect this is a rushed wheel change due to a sudden shower, as the cars have to run in order, you can't hang back and wait for the rain to stop

    Unfortunately the first pic is not currently showing on my PC
