I am assisting a friend in the sale of his 1973 Targa.

For Sale
1973 Porsche 911 E Targa
VIN 9113210575
Price $25,000.00

General – This 911 E was purchased by the present owner in 1989 without an engine. Shortly thereafter the car was repainted, from black to silver and a 1973 911 S engine was installed. This engine had been rebuilt in 1984 to 2.7 RS specifications. The car only been driven approximately 20,000 miles since that time. The car was in storage between 1981 and 1989. This is an above average performing Targa and is being sold at a very competitive price.

Body – All body gaps and panel fit are very good to excellent, there is no evidence of any collision damage and there is no evidence of any rust in the car with the exception of very minor surface rust on the underside of the floor pan and in the front compartment floor. The paint is very good to excellent, however there are several small stone chips in the front of the hood and in the windshield.

Engine – A recent leak down check showed loss of 7%, 7%, 4%, 6%, 4% and 7%. All of the standard MFI components are installed.

Transmission – was rebuilt in 1983 and a new clutch was installed and it shifts properly.

Suspension and brakes – have received routine maintenance and the brake fluid was recently changed. The tires and wheels, shown in the photos, have been replaced the ones shown in the last two photos. The replaced tires are worn and should be replaced.

Interior - The condition of the interior is good, with slightly worn carpets and factory style Recaro sport seats, in very good condition, are installed.

The car is located in Denver, Colorado and is available for inspection.

A photo album of the car can be viewed at:
