Reminder that there are no absolutes regarding exactly what tool was correct, as Porsche was a manufacturing company and whatever was on hand was used. Sometimes old stock would be found or mixed in and it would be used up.

There are different gray bags, notably the 1976 is different than the 1977. The 1976 has the dark gray interior, while 1977 has lighter interior that is courser. The 1976 bags still came with the solid spark plug wrench...I've inspected many cars produced in May and June and they all still have the solid style. By the time my 1977 930 #0417 was produced in February 1977, the spark plug tool now came with the spring. This was a one-owner prior to me and it had a nearly NOS tool kit included still in the original plastic Porsche bag.
