A guy on Facebook marketplace is advertising a large collection of original 356/911/912 parts for sale in London. If interested, your supposed to send your wish list and he値l see if he has it. Of course everything I ask about, he has. Naturally my sketchy radar is going off because he has no reviews, just joined Facebook and seems rude and I知 wasting his time with questions. Regardless, let me get to my point now.

I asked about any original condition swb wood steering wheels he might have available. He sent me these pics below. Naturally I was excited to see an early aluminum wood wheel. I questioned its authenticity because of several things. The screws, instead of rivers around the hub behind the horn button. The black painted center and backside area around the hub which is usually silver/aluminum on everyone I致e seen. Of course, I asked for a closer pic of the center area where the nut attaches the wheel to the steering column. See pic below, it looks like from another wheel because it looks too silver in color compared to the other photo without the horn button on.

I told him I thought it was a reproduction and of course he is upset and blocked me from his ad or buying anything. Not a big deal, I felt uneasy about the guy anyways. Not very good customer service. Check out the pics below and let me know your thoughts. Real or fake, just curious.
