He had a twin thread going on over at the Bird and also asked to have it deleted which I think the moderators over there did. He said he just only wanted the thread on the 912 registry forum.

Hugh,
OP is now locked out. He can’t delete anything.
Perhaps something in that thread doesn’t jive with the Autoweek article? Did that ever get published?
Our culture has become so adept at crafting an online image and persona that when something gets posted that doesn’t fit a narrative they try to fix it. ... D’oh!
...he had time to post loads of comments and pictures but now can't be arsed to delete things himself before leaving?
Not interested in modified 912 so couldn't care less about content either way but seems a bit off to not "tidy their own room if they don't like the mess they made while playing here before leaving to play with other friends."
My dear old mum certainly wouldn't have approved of such bad manners and might' well've made him tidy up his own mess

Guessing it's because the OP has started a business. If you check on his gram you can see that he partnered with someone and is manufacturing period correct Wheels now. Im guessing more parts and perhaps whole cars to follow so he doesn't want the blueprint out there. He deleted everything on Pelican.

Hm
If he really wanted to stuff his thread, rather than asking The Moderators to 'remove this thread,' seems all Fixer really had to do was just edit it into oblivion --- been done before . . .

Bit more work, maybe --- buuuuut . . .
. . . way more effective
Sneakier, too
Jus' sayin
As for who owns what? --- well . . .
. . . IMO . . .
. . . if you can edit it? --- then maybe you own it?
..........
Not sure that’s entirely correct Rick.
Participants surely enjoy control until “the State” seizes our threads. As in this situation.
As for eliminating his social media footprint because he’s involved with a new business? I’d like to hear that from the horse’s mouth but I can see where a partner/investor simply wants no baggage.
Glad I’m my own man.
He's very active on the social media i use under his R institute tag. It seemingly this forum and Pelican where he had four years of posts detailing the build of his 912R. DK if he was active in Rennlist ? He posts on the 912 board. Quite sad because it's a cool car, plus these days i will take any build thread on Pelican over the merry go round discussion of 'the values of a G50'
Whatever happened to Raj? Here under a different name? Still collect Porsche’s?
