Thanks for the charming thread Rower. Feels like the old days here. My college alma mater just sent me some gear from their rowing team and I’m awash in nostalgia!
Cheers,
John

Rower, I doubt your 59 is my old car, but my car did have an identifying feature. I was out of town one weekend when my wife and her girlfriend thought it would be fun to cruise around in the Porsche. They drove all around shopping , getting lunch, etc., when they were heading home the car lost power and stopped. She called a tow truck, the driver messed around a bit to get it going to no avail. As was the custom back in the day he hooked up his rig and raised the front off the ground and towed it home. He went a bit to high in the front and dragged the rear bumperettes on the pavement cracking the drivers side just below the collector for the exhaust funnel. Needless to say when I got home I turned the fuel cock to reserve and it started right up.
Hey guys, here's my 1960 T5 coupe in light Ivory & Black, photo taken over the weekend after a drive.
Gorgeous JB! Looks like you had a great day for the drive - it is snowing here today!

^^^ Kidding, right? You don’t drive your 356 in the snow? Not a lot on the ground at this point.....but, snow is snow!
Can we see some interior pics of the T5? Love that Light Ivory!!!
Thanks Stephen, Dave & Terry, here's a photo of the interior as requested.
Here is our late 64SC (or may be considered a early 65 depending on how you read the build dates). Nice original 87K car with one repaint in 1980.
