Very sad news. Never met in person, but saw the car at the Peterson and heard nothing but good things.

Seems to be an unfortunate and increasing trend in “our” demographic.

    I’m devastated.

In the past few years Nick and I would chat frequently about cars but also work, our paths were parallel and I had contacts within his organization that he was closely aligned with. We shared strategies and stories of successes. And then we’d talk cars some more.

Spoke to Nick a week ago when he told me the news. He and I discussed my first cousin who is a well known GI oncologist in San Diego. He mentioned my cousin’s name had come up many times but his treatment was more aggressive than what my cousin would do. Mentioned after some chemo it might be a good fit. Nick was fighting. He had plans to be among the tiny percentage to beat his diagnosis. I told him my prayers were all about him coming out on top. And I’d see him in January. He was upbeat and filled with good vibes.

He was grateful to catch up with me and grateful for the referral.

A great man taken too soon. Devastating news.

Really sad to hear. Nick stopped by my house a few years ago to pickup some parts. We had a great conversation about 911ST and 911R details. As everyone confirmed, just a super great guy.

    God Bless his family.

I’m so very mad at the universe right now that I can barely stand it. Nick was the first to introduce himself to me long ago at an ESR eve gathering during a Lit Meet weekend. We were both steering wheel hounds, (the coincidence isn’t t lost on me).

Just a brilliantly wonderful person and we missed each other during RR7 regrettably. That’s all I can muster. A little overwhelmed.

    RIP Nick.

I am very sad to read this news today. I have had a few dealing with Nick over the years. I have fond memories of him seeking me out to chat when i visited the Lit week swap meet and got the chance to see his wonderful ST. A lovely man. RIP Nick.

    Utter shock

I got to know Nick through our landlord when we moved back to North County. Such a nice and genuine guy. I have a few nice memories that come to mind: Shortly after the ST was finished he took me out for a drive, he was so stoked and who can blame him. What a car!

Another good memory was after he’d let his son drive the ST on track for the first time. Nick was so proud, but a bit disappointed that his son had held back a bit. I asked if that wasn’t a good thing considering the car? Upon which Nick responded it was good he showed respect but the car is meant to be driven

Last one was during RR6, early morning and I had just crawled out of my tent and walked down for some breakfast. Foggy and very few people out. And there’s Nick with a coffee cup in hand with the biggest grin on his face. He was so happy to be there!

Nick thank you for being you, I’ll miss you!
