    perhaps not. It's a good method to remove old (and brittle) protection and add new protection. So functionality over looks in my case.

    It’s also a good method to see if there are any rust issues anywhere in the underside that may not be obvious. When I had mine done we found a tiny rust hole ( less than half an inch) on the on at the extreme right rear adjacent to the seam at the edge. It was only the cleaning of all of the junk including some loose sealing that exposed it and enabled it to be fixed at a very early stage

    Car will be driven 3-4k miles a year. I’ve already driven 1500 smiles since picking her up in November.

    My goal more than anything was to get the undertray looking showroom & maintain from there.

    Mine had not been given a proper clean underneath for all of the 30 years that I have had it and I doubt that it had it for the 20 years before that

    Plus 1 on that... I just had the same revelation, which would have gone unnoticed without dry ice blast on 1974 2.7 Carrera... This went unnoticed on multiple inspections...
