    Ray,

Hoping you get all the money for this beautiful S. Your effort is an incredibly noble gesture to support your grand nephew and his family.

    Hi Ray,
Would it be correct to call the paint color “olive” as opposed to “olive green” which was a later model year color?
Are you saying it is original “first paint” except for the refinishing to the front/front right?
    Great car!
    Thanks,
    Bill

    other versions of Olive

The photo with the 2 Targa's...Both are 1972 Olive Targa's...one is a T, mine is a S. I will say the T was recently restored and it's beautiful.

Yes, we can call it just Olive. Paint code 414

In my emails with the original owner, he only stated the fender and spoiler was painted. I do have paint meter photos available. They are all pretty consistent. Probably repainted? I do know regarding the license plate panel, I have waxed off the paint myself to primer in a few spots.

For transparency, I am posting a few of the paint meter photos...I have more...I am not sure if the numbers mean thick repainted or thin original paint

Thanks for your questions. You had me correct the typos and I am going with Olive.
