    Thanks for your concern guys.

London is very quiet this morning. I'm guessing that many have wisely stayed out of town having struggled to get home last night...

We'll have the week end to lick our wounds and come Monday morning the stiif upper lip will be back in place.

Thankfullly nobody in my office was hurt, we start at 0830 so we missed it all.

I had to walk a fe wmiles back to thro town yesterday morning in the midst of it all and aside from the lack of buses and taxis there was a feeling of great calmness and resolve.

Very tragic. London's such a great city. I've never heard more languages spoken in walking a city block anywhere other than in London. I've takin the tube and the bus many times there. Riding the bus is one of my favorite things about London. You meet people from all over and it's a joy to strike up a conversation.

Will my girlfriend lives in Barnes so you guys are neighbors. I'll be coming for a visit at the end of this month. Maybe I can meet up with some of the London Early S crowd while I'm there.

    Hang in there guys.

I've always considered the glass to be half full...that is until I reached middle age and realized that it is actually half empty.

Bobboloo - for certain, that would be great. I am in Krakow (stag do or as you might say bachelor's party) from 28-31st but around apart from that. I'm sure there will be a good opportunity to hook up with some Early 911 folks - there's quite a posse of us in SW London. Let me know your dates and we can take it from there.

I'll be there from July 29 to August 9

Email me your number and I'll ring you when I'm in town. It's too bad my timing wasn't better or I could have caught the 911 Porsche World get together.

    6 degrees of separation...

I wasn't going to post here as I truly didn't know how to express my sorrow (and anger) without sounding like a typically hyper-sensitive female (and mum)...but something happened this morning which proved to me just how small a world we all live in.

We were driving to school; Billy (just turned 6) says to me one of his best buds had family in one of the trains..."Callum's cousin got hit by the bomb on the train in England mummy - he's not dead but he got hit by the bomb and he's not good".

How the hell does one explain why this happened to a 6yo who has been touched by this tragedy through one of his best buds ? Sadly in these sorts of circumstances we find we all know someone who knows someone etc who has been affected - my heart goes out to all those affected as well as all those 'someones' who know them...

If I had the chance to be granted just one wish it would be for the world to be a happy and peaceful place where our children could live in harmony...

Y'know Chuck I did exactly that tonight...I had special time with all 3 of 'em tonight; even Tom (almost 13) sat on my knee for a "mum cuddle" and a chat about "stuff"...I need to stop and count my blessings - I am indeed a very lucky gal .

    Cheers,
