    Hood Shocks???

Does anyone know the factory part number for the hood shocks to help support the extra weight of the lights?

    Thanks

    Hi Jens,
I looked at a lot of pic's of early 911's with hood mounted Cibie, and the olny rule of thumb seems to be that they be mounted in the middle of the hood scoop crease on each side, and that they not be any higher or lower than the actual headlights themselves. The white car seems to have them mounted a little high, but since they were never a factory option, it does really come down to a matter of personal taste.
As regards the special order hood shocks for Cibies, I didn't think they existed. Do they?
