Thanks John. This will sound dumb, but I have always had an interest in getting an LSD for my '72 but have never known the first thing about how to even look for one. Do you have one?

Buying a new Guard seems like the thing to do these days. You can benefit from the asymetric technology, and they work with your non LSD drive flanges. Considering it's inside the box, the cache of an OE part that doesn't work as well as the new stuff doesn't make sense, to me anyway.

    Peter...

Sorry I wasn't clear....the differential I have for sale is like the one in the first post...as 911 Quest mentioned it is a Non-simplified diff not an Limited Slip Differntial....

The only LSD I have is in my 69' 911...it is the stock ZF 901 LSD from a 911S it uses the frinction discs....it is great on the track and not a problem on the street...sorry it's not for sale...

The one for your 72 is just like mine...or you can use the after market GT torque bias type
I see the 901 type for sale sometimes on ebay....I am sure they are around and you can get one....last time I saw one they were in the range of about $1200usd
