Great to see this thread revived. So many great contributions and a reminder to me to "get closer" which I haven't been doing.

Ever since I saw it at the Wilhoit open House last March, I have added John's home-made "Stinger" on his personal 911 to my short list of items I will consider very seriously for my next 911........(if I ever finish my current one ).
Beautifully done, and what a great sound !

It's been a bit quiet on one of my favorite threads so thought I'd bring it back to life!
Spent an enjoyable hour this afternoon painting the ident markings for the upper and
lower banks on the twin plug dizzy cap, white for the upper, yellow the lower.
Why did I get so much pleasure doing that, and should I seek help?
cheers, Mike

Mike:
Maybe you should consider using Martini colors...red, blue...then you can get that pleasure all over again. Yes, you should seek help...poor Helen.

Here's one on my car. Got tired of those flimsy plastic door pulls breaking...belting leather works better. We are making special grommets where the leather door release goes through the panel.
