    Jim, would you say he's more of an an A-6 or an F-117A? Hiding in "plane" sight or jinking left and right to avoid SA-6s?
    "Flying Blue" or HAVE BLUE?

    I don't care if he works too hard, as long as he shows up on Wednesday the 16th, beard shimmering in a majesty of perfection, striding like a proud lion in open toe shoes.

    I would say hiding in "plane" sight. I can't quite imagine Karlo jinking.

    "beard shimmering in a majesty of perfection, striding like a proud lion in open toe shoes" Whoa big fella, take a deep breath and step away from the keyboard......

    Anyway, I'll see if I can get Karl to explain why everyone is wearing open-toe footwear.
    Couldn't afford much more than a coffee there, last time I went (about 2 years ago)

    I cannot comment on opentoe footwear as it's too cold, or majestic flowing rasputin like beards( I shaved mine off)
    Basically, i will have to bow out on the 16th as I have family coming in to town and will be tied up running tour guide duty. As of Dec 1st, I will be free to partake of the wild nectar that is McSorleys Dark or Light.
    John, someone will have to prod you into leading the conversation and speaking up a little, in the absence of loudmouths such as myself.

    I am in for the 16th as well. Early suits me since it never feels there is enough time before everyone has to bow out. Perhaps we should also generate an email to include those of us who don't check the 'gatherings' thread often.

    Cheers,
    Mike

    If you decide to push until December 1st maybe myself and a certain "tri athlete in training" could take the train from Philly and attend....

    * * * UPDATE * * *

    As it turns out the 16th won't work for me either now. So who is IN for DECEMBER 1, 2011, no excuses, carveouts, caveats, taking-one's-extended-family-to-Madame-Tussaud's-Wax-Museum-on-42nd-Street-thank-you-very-much's, etc.
