My understanding was that is was available for sale around 130'000 euros. Wonderful object, remarkably preserved....and one of the most famous photograph of Ferdinand Porsche!

The story I heard is that this model was "borrowed" back in the day by an employee who got fired...
Not mine, yet, and not for sale, yet.
One would hope this model makes it back to Porsche where it belongs in the museum...
One would think that with so many paintings being "returned" to their original and rightful owners, that this particular item would be able to find it's way back to the Porsche family....

Hi all,
Has anybody out there come across another example of this Porsche-Piech watch. It was a gift to employees for 20 years of service.
Thanks,
Janos

When I get home a "Porsche Carrera Guide for engines type 1500 GS, 1600 GS, and 2000 GS" will be waiting for me. The UPS truck delivered it while I was at work. YAY!
