You gotta love this market; clapped out RS's being offered for "only" $379k. My guess is someone will pay $350 for it just to say they have a chip in the game.
There's something weird going on when an excellent RS will bring more than a 959.

Although fast forward to 2020 when we will look back and say: "Remember when Symbolic gave 0056 away for $350k?"

As always, time and desire will have the last word.

LOL Frank. I would call this one a 'useable' RS, especially with a non-original engine. Come to think of it wouldn't it be the ideal RS for your local. Drive the wheels off it even in the summer with the A/C going.

    Raj,

Probably a discussion for another thread but the only "electronics" issues I'm aware of are a result of moist conditions. The cars are absolutely awesome; a piece of art. However, the price of admission is the cheap part unless you find a car that has been gone through by Canepa or someone else who knows them well. I won't complain about the RS market but I would rather have a 959 ALL DAY LONG over a glorified 911S. So I will officially say if anyone wants to trade a 959 for RS #266, I'm all over that!

So, the eBay seller says it is NOT a clone...Hmmmm. Obviously, something doesn't compute. Here are VIN, Engine, which didn't return anything here on Forum. Chassis#: 9113600093
    Engine code: 6630112.

At least the knucklehead scammer could have picked a more obsure Carrera to 'sell'. The RS 0093 is a well know car owned by one of the members here and was previously owned by another member. It is a Lt Yellow 472. I don't know what car that is in the photos but it is not 0093. What a dumb a**.

I still can't believe how bold some people are, and how difficult it is to stop those who advertise outwardly false information. Here is the quote I received from him:

Additional photos are attached. This is an original RS, not a clone as many ebay members have asked.

    Chassis#: 9113600093
    Engine code: 6630112
A photo of the paint code plate is attached.

For payment I accept bank wire transfer. I can arrange shipping.
