@pirulero, yes, becouse it's an italian Car ;-)

In Italy there are many 2.7Carrera that have been restored in the last 2/3years and are in as-new condition.
7/8 years ago they cost 20/30€ and were not "collection's car", this is the reason why you can find a not perfect 2.7.
90% of euro 2.7Carrera I saw for sale in Usa were wrong in many details, especially in the interior!
60/70€ is the right price for this Carrera for sale....there are many job to do on it!
There is an Italian specialist for interior that has all the original material for 2.7carrera interior.
Dark blue carpet is the principal characteristic of 74 2.7Carrera interior and nobody got it, except this Italian specialist.
All the other thinks it's black.....but it's darkblu! (Only for 74my)

I bought this car two years ago, it's a '76 Euro Carrera, only 113 built. It will be my next project. All it needs is a good paintjob, revise the engine, fix some issues with the sunroof and buy a new Sport Steering Wheel. The interior is untouched, even the seats are not ripped. This car has not driven since 1992. Can't wait to hear the 2.7 RS engine...

Presumably you'll also remove the Belgium equipment that was added on later? The 76 Carrera MFI 2.7's steering wheel was the later offset/non hub centric Sport (different than the 1974 Carrera Sport steering wheel that continued to be used early into 1975). Why not just recover the one you have?
Btw, the only place that has the correct engine decals for the 1976 Carrera 2.7 MFI is Canford Classics. They produced the 2,5 liter oil decal when I restored my 1976 Carrera and they have it on file now. Plus theirs is actually metal like the original, unlike some reproductions. They also have the correct gray heat exchanger hoses...where almost every other place sells the modern black ones which are incorrect.

Hello Ryan,
I already bought a Carrera centric Sport Wheel. So you're saying '76 Carrera wheel is different from '74 and '75 Carrera? Ok I trust you on that and will recover the one I have.
And thanks a lot for the Canford connection. A friend of mine just bought a 911T there last week, nice guys he says. I will order the decals and hoses!
Thanks again!
Erik

Nice early Carrera Sport wheel! Porsche switched to the offset Sport steering wheel design starting in January 1975 to meet German and Australian regulations...and they applied this to all markets. So only 1975 Carrera MFI built in the first half of the model year would have been delivered new the Sport wheel.
(we should return to the topic of the specific 1975 Carrera this thread is about)
