Jim, I agree, but the east coast always gets overlooked and everyone goes to the Mecca! It does get tiring after a while.

Laguna's paddock gets cramped pretty quick. It's a PITA for participants that have to shuttle equipment and personnel, plus park outside.
Agreed, Lime Rock isn't up to the task... but not sure that the Glen would be either, plus location isn't ideal. Road America is a logical option but here's another. Since past events were held on either coast (great for those relatively close) something in the middle would be welcome. My first choice would be that spankin' new facility in Texas. Easy transport from east or west, Circuit of the Americas is in the perfect location with spacious state of the art facilities. No historic connection, but most everyone would like to drive that track...
At least once.

I echo Russ' opinion! Plus I should be practicing the lines there in the coming months!

with Porsche cars USA new headquarters being built in Atlanta, you'd think they'd be thinking of doing something on their home turf before too long.

FYI @ RSIII In Daytona we had over 525 race cars! That said a bigger track becomes a bigger venue. The Glenn would be a great place but then any large track youd do nicely!
I def think Lime Rock, where it started would be much too small same said for Lugana. Only PCA will know the next place for sure!

My wife got to go to NY shopping last year, so now I have a 'credit' in the bank to let me come to the States for a "car thing"
Any news on a Rennsport V?
